Hypodermic injections.-Solutions of mixtures of suprarenal preparations such as adrenalin with p-aminobenzoyldiethyl aminoethanol hydrochloride, alpha - dimethylamino - # methyl butanol hydrochloride, or benzoylethyltetramethyl diaminoisopropanol hydrochloride are obtained by the addition of disodium phosphate, which prevents decomposition of the suprarenal preparation for a short time, and thus renders the solutions suitable for injection. The components may be put up in double ampoules, so as to separate either the mixed preparation from the aqueous solution of disodium phosphate, or all the solid components from the solvent. The addition of sodium bicarbonate to mixtures of suprarenal preparations with p-aminobenzoyldiethylaminoethanol hydrochloride or with similar anµesthetics is referred to.
