Abstract

322,035. Langdon, A. G. Sept. 27, 1928. Fixed-abutment type; packing drums, vanes, abutments, and the like.-A semi-rotary pump comprises a casing 1 provided with suction and discharge valves and a rocking vane 9, pivoted adjacent the wall of the casing, which is actuated by a crank 12 or eccentric housed within the vane. An elliptic vane may be used and the casing be given an oval shape. The arcuate working surface 14 may be fitted with a renewable liner. The suction valves (not shown) are housed in one end cover of the casing.
