317,371. Krupp Akt.-Ges., F. Aug. 14, 1928, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Stoppers, plug; materials for stoppers.-In a drawn cover for milk cans and other containers having an annular bead a<2> large enough to be easily cleaned and adapted to abut on the edge of the aperture of the can, the bead a<2> merges into the shell portion a<1> of the cover by a surface a<4> which is at least horizontal and may be inclined downwardly. The bead on the cover extends beyond the bead b' on the container to protect the latter from rain &c. In making the cover, the bead is rolled out from a smooth cylindrical shell of stainless steel. Specification 197,883, [Class 66, Hollow-ware], is referred to.
