Abstract
317,034. Scintilla Akt.-Ges. Aug. 9, 1928, [Convention date]. Transformers.-In an ignition coil for battery ignition systems, the core laminations are clamped together by an insulating casing surrounding the coil. The core is in two halves G, H located one in each half of the casing J, K. A rectangular bolt passing centrally through the core and casing serves to clamp the two halves together and also to secure in place a protective cap 0 surounding the series resistance M. The primary terminals Q are located on the upper half of the core and the high tension terminal R is located at the junction of the parts of the casing.
