Movable-abutment type; valves, distributing and cut-off; valve-gear.-The admission of fluid to a rotary engine with cam-shaped pistons 1, 2 engaging each other to form crescent-shaped working spaces in cylindrical chambers is controlled by discs which rotate with the pistons and have ports 15 registering with ports in the casing. The timing and duration of the admission may be varied by forming the fixed ports 20 in plates 12 which are adjustable through worm gear and providing the ports with adjustable masking pieces 30.
