Abstract
316,259. Krupp Grusonwerk Akt.- Ges., F. July 26, 1928, [Convention date]. Squirting.-In order to remove from the movable receiver 4, Fig. 3, of a tube-or rod-squirting press, a metal block m which cannot be forced through the fixed die 3, the ram 5 is formed with a bore 5<1>, normally closed by a slide 8, into which the block and closing plate 7 are forced if the ram is advanced while the slide is in its open position Fig. 4. The slide 8 may have a hole which in the open position is aligned with the bore 5'. The block is then ejected by a plunger 10. In a modification the plate 7 and member 8 may be mounted to swing aside together.
