Abstract

313,783. Headley, F. H. July 14, 1928. Spring suspensions. - The two C-springs a between which the body is slung have mounted upon them flat blade or leaf springs c which carry the wheel axles c<1>. The C-springs are suitably braced together by transverse and diagonal members. In a modification the middle part of the C-springs on each side of the vehicle is made rigid by a girder structure consisting of the best member d<1> rivetted at each end to the spring and in the middle to the block d which carries the blade or leaf spring c.
