Abstract

312,531. Nicolls, J. H. July 7, 1928. Paper bags are formed of several bags or liners b, d, t, h, enclosed one in another and enclosing between them one or more bags or liners W made of waxed paper. An overlapping edge W<111> of the waxed bag W is disposed between the overlapping parts d', d<11>, of the bag d and the overlapping edge d<111> of the bag d lies between the overlapping parts of the bag b. The edges of the outer bags are similarly arranged and the overlapping edges of the various bags are secured together by cement C. According to the Provisional Specification, the bag may be reinforced by a wide adhesive strip which covers the bottom of the bag, extends up the side walls, covering the joins therein, and is folded over the top edge of the bag.
