Abstract

286,036. Setten, R. S. Jan. 1, 1927. Boxes formed from special blanks and comprising skeleton formation; lined and covered boxes. - A box file is composed of a rigid open rectangular frame a, a lid c, a 'bottom d secured to the bottom edge of the frame, and an intermediate section e which is secured to one side or end a<3> of the frame. The parts c, d, e are hingedly connected by adhesive linen f, g and the lid and bottom are covered on both surfaces with paper before application to the frame which is preferably lined with paper: an auxiliary linen strip may be used to hinge the lid to the frame. According to the Provisional Specification a lining for the frame may be formed from a rectangular blank diagonally slit at the corners, the folded blank being gummed in the frame and to the bottom of the file.
