Impact pulverizers; disc and like mills.-In a mill having discs rotating relatively to each other and provided both with grinding rings and beaters, the grinding rings f are arranged to surround the beaters e so that the material fed into the centre of the mill is disintegrated before passing through the fine grinding rings b, f. The grinding ring b is adjusted relatively to the grinding ring f by means of packing rings g or the door n may be mounted in lugs h, Fig. 4, so that its distance from the disc may be adjusted by a screw k on a transverse bar i supported in lugs m on the mill casing. When it is desired to obtain an impalpable powder a circular sleeve is used around the discs.
