Abstract

244,003. Twort, F. June 19, 1925. Impact pulverizers.-Relates to disintegrators for grinding coal &c. and to machines of the four-screen type or of the adjustable two or four screen type. The grinding-chamber consists of four equal or unequal sections A, B, C, D which fit between block-pieces E, F, G, H and are held in position either by stays J with central set screws M, the stays J fitting in grooves L in the casing K, or by swinging stays N and setscrews P, the stays N being pivoted on set-screws 0 on the block-pieces E, F, G, H. The sections A, B, C, D may be formed as ratchets or screens. Specification 222,383 is referred to.
