Safety valves; connecting to steam generators. -A safety valve is provided with a detachable and interchangeable securing flange c rotatably mounted on the main casing without interengaging screw threads. The flange is shouldered to co-operate with a turned flange a<1> on the base a and is held against detachment by a ring f resting on a shoulder a<2> which ring also limits the adjustment of the casing d, thus assuring the exact re-setting of the valve after fitting the flange and also preventing jamming of the flange.
