Abstract
544,380. Watch cases. TAUBERT FRERES SOC. ANON. Dec. 23, 1940. No. 18039. Convention date, Oct. 25. [Class 139] The back 23 is detachably secured to the case bandpart 21 by a split spring ring 27 seated in a groove 25 of semi-circular section in the band and bearing against a shaped part of the back. The back may be pressed against a packing ring 24, or may have a convex surface bearing against a seating on the band. The glass 22 may be similarly mounted. The groove for the spring ring may be notched at one part for receiving a tool for releasing the spring or the spring may have a projecting tab at one end.
