Abstract
303,102. Wilsdorf, H., (Assignee of Weiss, P.). Dec. 28, 1927, [Convention date]. Keyless mechanism in which the winding knob is closed down on to' the case comprises a knob 3 having a pin 6 which takes into a slot 7 in the pendant 2. The lower part of this slot 7 is slightly inclined so that as wear occurs the pin 6 advances further along the slot 7 and maintains the, mechanism water-tight. The pendant 2 and recess 5 are conical as shown. The sleeve 4, which is screwed into the knob 3, is connected to the winding stem 8, when the knob is released, by any suitable means, such as that described in Specification 281,315.
