Delivery apparatus.-The offset cylinder of a rotary offset manifolding-machine is provided with a yieldingly mounted paper-depressing device mounted in the usual recess in which the ends of the material covering the cylinder are secured, whereby the sheets of paper passing between the offset and impression cylinders are directed between guide members provided on the machine frame; the depressing-devices may be spring or gravity actuated. In one form, Fig. 1, the depressing-device comprises a number of fingers 17 mounted upon a spring 18 secured on a bridge piece 16 extending across the recess 15 in the offset cylinder 7, the sheets 2 fed in known manner between the cylinders 7, 8 thereby being stripped from the offset cylinder and directed between two guide plates (not shown) provided with conveyer rollers. Alternatively the depressing-member may comprise a gravity actuated pawl-like member pivoted within the recess in the offset cylinder, its leading edge being recessed tc form fingers similar to the fingers 17 which interengage with recesses in the upper guide plate. The guide plates between which the sheets are diverted may be mounted upon a pivoted arm so that they can be swung out of position. Fig. 6 shows an offset cylinder 7 with a recess within which two gravity-actuated depressing-pawls or fingers 24, 25 are pivoted, whereby in the event of the pawl 24 missing the forward edge of a sheet the edge would be engaged and depressed by the pawl 25. The edges of the sheet may pass beneath a pair of spaced rollers 28 carried by arms 29<1> and adjustably mounted upon a supporting-frame which holds them towards the impression cylinder 8. means being provided to enable the distance between the rollers 28 to be varied according to the width of the sheets.
