Abstract

284,911. Maxner, G. E. May 19, 1927. Delivery apparatus.-Sheets of paper or other light material 12 leaving a printing or other machine are deposited in a pile on a table 10 by means of side joggers 16, and air nozzles 46 direct opposing currents of air against the sheets so as to keep the sheets floating while the joggers are acting. The nozzles' 46 are mounted on the joggers 16 and are connected to the blower by flexible tubing 50. The currents of air, which may be heated by being passed through an electric heater, serve to disperse any static electricity, and in the case of printed sheets, also to dry the impressions.
