Seats convertible into beds; seat bottoms; rests; folding seats.-A chair convertible into a bed comprises a collapsable main frame a, h, a foot frame b telescopically connected therewith and having a ground support e at the front, a subsidiary pivoted frame l forming the chair back, and a length of canvas s supported by the front of the foot frame and by the top of the subsidiary frame. The canvas may be secured to the side frames by fastenings w and may pass between the cross rods r, its own cross bar t being engaged in clips u when the device is in use as a chair. The legs h may be pivoted on pins i which engage slots j in the memhers b, and foldable rear legs f may be provided.
