Abstract
305,233. Gr³nstein, M., and M³ller, L., (trading as M³ller & Gr³nstein, Elgersburger Feuerzeugfabrik). Feb. 2, 1928, [Convention date]. Pocket igniters, frictional.-The friction wheel g and the wick-cap h are operated simultaneously by depressing a plunger l provided with an arm k having a pin-and-slot connection with the cap. The flint tube e, carrying the wheel and cap, and the plunger l can be drawn out of the, sleeves c, d by pulling the arm k. A spring n is adapted to resist the downward movement of the plunger. A pivoted lever p is adapted to engage notches o, o<1> in the plunger to hold the cap in the open or closed position. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes an igniter in which a telescopic arm h, i on a spring plunger l, Fig. 1, (Cancelled), has a forked end engaging a pin on the wick-cap d. With this construction closure of the wick-cap d is effected by the plunger spring n on merely relaxing the pressure of the finger. The wick-cap and the friction-wheel c are separately mounted on a common spindle e and connected by a one-way pawl and ratchet. Specification 294,426 is referred to. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
