Force-feed lubricating.- A gear pump 5, 5<a> for an aircraft engine is driven from the engine crankshaft 1 by a hollow shaft 3 connected to the hollow shaft 4 of one of the pump pinions, the pump drawing through a conduit 6 and discharging through a conduit 7, a chamber 8 containing a filter 9, a passage 10, and through the shafts 3, 4 into the crankshaft. A pinion 11 is provided on the shaft 3 for driving other engine accessories.
