Abstract

304,957. Clift, T. H. April 3, 1928. Addition to 256,714. Pneumatic-tyre pressure gauges. - The chamber 1 through which air is forced to the tyre valve is fitted with a valve 20 which on the pressure stroke of the pump closes the outlet to the valve 6 controlling and located on the indicating and signalling device 7, the air then passing through ports 19 uncovered by the piston 16 to the tyre. On the down stroke the piston is returned bv the suction and a spring 18, and a valve 17 closes the pump outlet, while the valve 6 is opened to the air chamber 1.
