Abstract

323,901. Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., and Carr, F. R. Dec. 19, 1928., Oscillating pumps.-A pump comprising a compression cylinder 10 and a reservoir cylinder 11 has a valve 22 incorporated in the reservoir for use in gauging the pressure. A portable gauge may be employed, the application of which to the valve fitting opens the valve. In a modification, a gauge fitted with the valve is permanently attached to the reservoir, the valve being operated by hand to place the reservoir and gauge in communication when required. A foot-actuated oscillating pump is shown.
