Modulating systems.-In order to eliminate modulation interference in the reception area between two or more broadcasting stations operating on a common carrier-wave, the lowfrequency lines connecting the studio microphone and the various transmitting aerials are made electrically equal in length by the insertion of time-retardation networks in the shorter lines, so as to ensure that the speech currents reach the modulators either in simultaneous phase, or with any desired phase-difference.
