TEKADE, (formerly SUDDEUTSCHE TELEFON-APPARATEKABEL-UND-DRAHTWERKE AKT.-GES.), Nuremburg, all in Germany. May 17, 1932, No. 14044. Convention date, May 16, 1931. [Class 40 (v).] In an ultra-short wave transmitting and receiving system the carrier waves for the two directions have their planes of polarization displaced by an angle sufficient to prevent interference between one transmitter and the nearby receiver. Thus the transmitting aerial of one station and the corresponding receiving aerial at the other may have horizontal aerials, those of the other transmitter and receiver being vertical. The two directions may use the same wavelength and transmitting and receiving aerials of each station may be disposed in the same reflector without interference.
