684,693. Radio signalling; duplex radio signalling. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and ESPLEY, D. C. Feb. 8, 1951 [Feb. 8, 1950], No. 3275/50. Class 40 (v). A relay station adapted to transmit two radio signals of frequencies f 1 and f 2 modulated by modulation signals of two received frequencies f 3 and f 4 , respectively, comprises two aerial systems 1, 2, which may transmit and/or receive in two directions and a number of changeover switches 7-10, which may be as described in Specification 564,988 or 578,737, and which are connected so that the station may pass signals in either direction, and may pass both signals in either the same or opposite directions simultaneously. Two transmitters 5, 6 operating on frequencies f 1 , and f 2 , respectively, are provided each associated with a receiver 3, 4 operating on frequencies f 3 and f 4' respectively, filters 11, 12, which may be as described in Specification 659,811, [Group XL (b)], being provided between the aerial system and each of the transmitters and receivers for eliminating all but the frequency associated with the particular transmitter or receiver.
