Abstract
303,610. Drewry, J. S., and Shelvoke & Drewry, Ltd. Nov. 11, 1927. Doors, cart.- In doors, shutters and like closing members for vehicles which are opened and closed by a combined translational and swinging movement, the closing member is connected at the free ends of one or more arms the opposite ends of which are pivotally mounted externally to the aperture to be closed. The member 7 is provided at one end with rollers 8 sliding in guides 6 at the marginal edge of the door opening and is pivoted to one or more links 9 at the other end, the links being pivoted also to brackets 11 at 10. The front edge of the door is constrained to remain in the plane of the guides while the rear edge follows the movement of the links.
