Abstract

Vacuum tubes.-In order to facilitate the removal of gas by means of high - frequency induced currents, from an electrode which is enclosed by another electrode or metal part, the circuit of the electrode such as a grid 4 is closed by a lead 11 forming a loop outside the other electrode. In another arrangement the grid is mounted on leads which are connected together by a lead inside or outside the envelope.
