Abstract

An alloy for the conductors of electron discharge devices consists of 4.5 per cent of chromium, 42.0 per cent of nickel, 52.9 per cent of iron, 0.1 per cent of aluminium, 0.25 per cent of manganese, 0.2 per cent silicon, 0.015 per cent sulphur, 0.015 per cent phosphorus, and 0.02 per cent carbon.
