Abstract
302,535. Empire Engineering Co. (Manchester), Ltd., and Morris, J. A. April 20, 1928. Two barrels in series.-A lubricator comprises a pump A drawing lubricant from a chamber D through passages a<1>, a<2> containing non-return valves A<2>, A<3> and delivering through passages e\ e<2> containing a non-return valve e to a sight-feed chamber E, from which it is withdrawn by a pump B through passages b<1>, b<2> and a non-return valve G and delivered through non-return valves J<1>, J<2> to a discharge, pipe K, the valve G being mounted in a screwed plug H which is provided with an annular groove h and apertures h<1> affording communication between the passage b<2> and the interior of the plug. The pump plungers are actuated by a lever c on an oscillating shaft C, the stroke of pump A being controlled by an adjustable screw L containing a spring-pressed flushing rod l.
