Abstract

282,021. Hoppler, H. Dec. 9, 1926, [Convention date]. Force-feed lubricating; liquid-level, maintaining.-The level of lubricant in a distributing reservoir 3, to which lubricant is supplied in excess from a tank 1 by a gear pump 2 through a pipe 19, is maintained constant by an overflow pipe 4 leading back to the tank 1. lubricant flowing from the reservoir 3 through a number of outlets controlled by individual cocks 8 being delivered through pipes 13 to the points to be lubricated by pumps 7 driven by eccentrics 6 on a common shaft 5 arranged within the reservoir. Branches 17, 18 from the pipe 19 supply lubricant at a lower pressure to desired points.
