Abstract
302,069. Havannah Mills Co., Ltd., and Roger, G. Jan. 14, 1928. Burling; scraping. - A longitudinally grooved roller a having cutting edges b at the meeting edges of peripheral portions c and undercut portions c<1> is used for removing impurities and imperfections from the face side of a pile fabric J before it is cut and for bringing about a more uniform condition of the fabric. The roller can be used in conjunction with brushing &c. devices and the edges b may be so spaced that only one is in operation at a time. According to the Pmovicional Specification, the operating edges b may be removable.
