Convention date, April 10, 1933. [Class 59.] In a grinding mill for paste or thick liquid material having a plurality of smooth rolls b, c, g forming a succession of grinding pairs, stirring-mechanism i is provided in the collecting-chamber f between any grinding pair and the following pair in order to break up and thoroughly mix and ventilate the material. The rolls, which are pressed together and rotate with different surface speeds, co-operate as shown with a hopper a to form the chambers f, k, the coarse material being fed into the chamber k. Exteriorly-adjustable scrapers d, e remove the ground material from the rolls b, c.
