Abstract

662,975. Dough - sheeting machines. VICKARS, Ltd., T. & T., and NAYLOR, J. F. June 12, 1950 [April 16, 1949], No. 10291/49. Class 87(ii) A machine for rolling two webs of dough, between which a filling may be applied, has three or more rollers forming a compression space, a single inlet space between two of the rollers and a pair of outlet spaces. The dough is introduced horizontally into the machine. The machine of Fig. 1 has four rollers 11, 12, 14, 15 the outlets being between the pairs of rollers 11, 14 and 12, 15. Filling may be applied to the lower web from a hopper 18. The two webs are reunited by the nip rollers 19, 20. The machine of Fig. 2 has three rollers 21, 22, 24 the outlets being on either side of a divider 25. Rollers 21 and 24 are equipped with doctor blades 26, 27. The Provisional Specification refers to Specification 511,253.
