Apparatus for making filaments. - The triangular scraper blade for detaching the cellulosic material in wool like form from the winding-up drum of a spinning machine, is arranged so that the front face of the scraper blade 1 makes an angle of contact a with the winding-up drum 3 of between 100‹ and 120‹. The scraper blade which is conveniently in cross-section in the form of an equilateral triangle, may be held in apertures of corresponding shape provided in the fork member 2, by means of clamping screws 13.
