Abstract

309,817. Cunningham, A. Sept. 21, 1928. Rotary-blade machines. - In a machine for cutting away the loose threads located within stockings provided with reinforcement at the heel, a mandrel 1 has an end comb 2 through which the threads pass as the stocking is passed over the mandrel. A cutter 4 rotated from a handle 8 co-operates with the inside of the mandrel to sever the threads.
