Abstract
300,402. Johnson, J. Y., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). Dec. 3, 1927. Hydrochloric acid; potassium bisulphate practically free from chlorine is obtained by treating a mixture of potassium chloride and sulphuricacid which contains at least one molecular proportion of sulphuric acid to each molecular proportion of potassium chloride with a current of gas or vapour such as superheated steam at a temperature below 120‹ C., say 110-120‹ C.
