Abstract

297,510. Taylor, W. H., and Shaw, C. June 29, 1927. Separators.-Apparatus for separating liquid and solid impurities from air comprises a. casing having a. baffle, 5 or baffles extending transversely across the path from the inlet 3 to the outlet 4 and a partition of filtering fabric, shown as a filter 11 of stellate cross section, within the casing. When two or more baffles are provided they extend alternately from opposite sides. A lip 6 coacts with the baffle. 5. A drain cock 12 is provided for the liquid separated by the baffles. The casing has external cooling fins.
