Bleaching, processes and materials for.-Dyed threads made of cellulose esters or ethers, e.g. cellulose acetate, or fabrics containing them, may be totally discharged by treating them with substances having high adsorbing properties, e.g. animal charcoal. The adsorbing agents may be applied in the form of pastes, with or without the addition of swelling agents for the cellulose esters or ethers.
