296,938. O'Dell, A. E., (Elektrotechnische Fabrik Schmidt & Co., Ges.). Jan. 10, 1928. Battery lamps.-A contact bridge 5 is secured to but insulated from the wall of the casing of pocket lamps, the ends 8 of the bridge being turned down into the battery space so that the " earthed " pole of the battery will contact with one of them whichever way round the battery may be inserted, while the movable switch member 7 will co-operate with one of the ends. Specification 280,444 is referred to, wherein a similar contact bridge is adapted to be in permanent contact with the centre pole of the lamp bulb.
