Abstract
296,720. Soc. Anon. des Automobiles P. Genestin. Sept. 6, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Springs, arrangement of.-A vehicle frame is supported on each axle by independently mounted crossed transverse springs, each spring being connected at one end to a longitudinal frame member and at the other end to an axle at a point on the opposite side of the vehicle. As shown, three springs are used for each axle, one spring 1 being rigidly connected at one to the frame 2 and shackled at its other end 3 to an axle bracket 4. The other two springs 6, 7 have a combined strength equal to the strength of the spring 1 and are arranged one on each side thereof, their connections being similar to those of the spring 1 but at the opposite side of the frame and opposite end of the axle. The rear axle 5 is connected to the frame by radius rods 8 pivoted to the axle and balls jointed at 9 to the frame.
