Abstract

295,093. Donaldson Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Hadden, W. J. June 1, 1927. Roller-blinds, attaching to rollers.-A fabric is secured to a rigid base e.g. a blind to its roller, by a resilient rod 13 enclosed in the hem of the fabric being located in a longitudinal recess 2 in the base 1. The end caps of the base 5 are provided with flanges which fit over the base and are formed with slots 9, narrower than the resilient rod 13, which lie over the longitudinal recess 2 to form recesses into which the ends of the rod 13 are sprung to hold the rod 13 within the recess. The edges of the fabric depend through the slots 9. In the case of a long base 1 clips 15 may be provided intermediate of its ends, the clips being rotatable, by a projection 16, to engage over the rod 13.
