Abstract

240,349. Norton, H. Jan. 27, 1925. Roller blinds. - The free end of a blind 10, wound upon a spring roller 11, is provided with a hollow weighted rod 25 having sleeves 21 secured in the ends thereof and through each of which a spindle 18 is adapted to slide, a carrier plate 13 being pivoted to each spindle and provided with two grooved rollers 15 engaging a guiding rail 12, of substantially T-section, secured to the window frame. A compression spring 24 is arranged on each spindle 18 between the sleeve 21 and an end enlargement 23 on the spindle.
