Damping warps and wefts in looms.-Yarns of organic derivatives of cellulose are woven, knitted, &c. while in a wet condition. The yarn may be wetted while in the form of hanks, cones, pirns, bobbins, &c. by immersion in water, or in a bath containing water and other substances which do not have to be removed subsequently and which serve to increase the suppleness of the yarns. Specification 215,417, [Class 120 (iii), Yarns &c.], is referred to.
