Abstract
294,487. H³ttenwerk Niedersch÷nweide Akt.-Ges. July 21, 1927, [Convention date]. Alloys. A process for working up materials containing tin, lead, copper, and antimony, comprises liquating a deep layer of the material in a shaft furnace heated from above whereby there is obtained at the bottom first an alloy consisting mainly of tin and lead with small proportions of copper and antimony. The temperature may then be raised to obtain an intermediate alloy which is subsequently added to a fresh charge, while the residue is finally drawn off at a higher temperature.
