Abstract

Stays.-In casement stays having a pivoted arm 1 with holes 5 for engagement with a pin formed integral with or associated with an eyeshaped guide member 11 the eye-member is constructed with a downwardly-extending tapering boss 13. In Fig. 4, the boss surrounds the pin 6 and has a shoulder 14 engaging a shoulder on the pin. The boss may carry a washer to engage under the shoulder on the pin. In a modification. the guide member is formed as a casting including an integral pin for engagement with the stay-arm and an integral tapered boss that is pivotally mounted in the bracket member 7.
