293,399. Demarta, A. July 5, 1927, [Convention date]. Compound flooring blocks. - A concrete paving-sett is provided with a metal rim b surrounding its upper perimeter and projecting above the surface of the concrete a so as to provide a space adapted to receive a surfacing layer of asphalt, tar, &c. The space is provided during moulding by placing a wooden or metal plate, which may be grooved, inside the metal rim and then casting the concrete. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also describes the upper surface of the rim as being flush with the surface of the concrete. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
