Springs, arrangement of.-A spring suspension for a steering wheel of a motor vehicle and functioning between the stub-axle and steering pivot, comprises a linkage having three or more articulated joints and controlled by a spring. The linkage may be in the form of a parallelogram comprising links e pivotally connected to extensions e<1> on a member b mounted to turn on the steering pivot a on the main axle i which may be rigidly carried by the chassis frame. The movement of the linkage is controlled by a helical spring d. One of the links e may be replaced by a laminated spring fixed to the corresponding extension e<1> in which case the helical spring d may be dispensed with.
