Abstract

292,793. Stuck, E. July 27, 1927. Multiple fastenings. - Fastening and locking means for clothes cupboards, lockers or the like comprise a bar 18 with latches 20 thereon which is moved obliquely and downwardly, being carried by studs 17 which slide in oblique slots 16 in the door, to cause the latches 20 to engage a flange or slots in the side panels of the cupboard; the bar 18 is retained in the closed position by a lock bolt 23 which when shot projects against a lug 22 on one of the latches. The latches are extended rearwardly at 20<c> to cover the slots 16.
