The upper feed roll A is adjusted by non-reversible worms C, on a hand-driven shaft E, engaging worms of screwed shafts engaging the bearings. Grinding discs carried by a slide F are rotated from the shaft I. In stripping pneumatic tyres a conical former M is used for flattening purposes.
