Abstract
291,641. Groves, W. W., (International Motor Co.). Aug. 2, 1927. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-The combustion chamber a' into which liquid fuel is sprayed. from the nozzle b has a hemispherical lower portion and a venturi outlet c', c<2> to the cylinder. The upper part a<2> of the chamber is conical and the lower part is detachable. Suitable proportions of the venturi outlet are shown in Fig. 5 in terms of the diameter of the throat.
