Abstract
217,209. Soc. Anon. des Etablissements Ballot. June 9, 1923, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-A combustion chamber 5 of conical form receives a similarly shaped jet of liquid fuel, which is injected through a sprayer 7 on to a hotplate 9. The chamber 5 communicates with the cylinder through a triangular slot 10 the apex of which is near the fuel sprayer 7, and which may be displaced from the axial plane of the cylinder in such a manner that the air will be caused to whirl in the chamber 5.
